Age Restriction (18+)
- It is illegal to use a sunbed if you are under 18 in the UK.
- We operate a Challenge 25 policy. If you appear under 25, our staff will ask for valid ID.
- Acceptable ID includes:
- Passport
- Photocard driving licence
- PASS-accredited 18+ cards (e.g., CitizenCard, MyID, OneID)
If you cannot provide valid ID when asked, we will not be able to offer tanning services.
Customer Registration & Account Security
To ensure only you can safely access your tanning minutes and record, we use secure biometric verification through SalonTracker.
When is a customer record created?
Your customer account is only created once:
- ID has been checked and verified, and
- You have given explicit consent for biometric enrolment.
Fingerprint Enrolment
- We use a fingerprint template (not an image) strictly to identify you when accessing your account.
- It ensures only you can securely use your minutes and prevents misuse or unauthorised access.
- Enrolment is optional. If you prefer not to use biometrics, we provide an alternative access method.
Your Data Rights
Under the UK GDPR:
- You have the right to access or request deletion of your data.
- You may withdraw your biometric consent at any time, and your fingerprint template will be deleted.
- We keep biometric data only while your account is active and delete it promptly when no longer needed.

Refusals
If no valid ID is provided, or if the customer is under 18, service will be refused in line with the law. All refusals are recorded.
